Following my last discussion with the animals about Chaos and 2012, I planned to connect to several wild animals to pose the same questions about the tension and energy shifts happening on our planet. As it turns out, I only communicated with one, Eagle. I know there are other animals who want to talk with me about this. They have already volunteered, jumping out at me during my walks but that will need to wait another day.
I knew I wanted to connect with Eagle because one showed up the other day. I was outside with a large group of people when I noticed an eagle soaring above us as if in approval of our gathering. It was clear to me then that I needed to talk with Eagle about the changes we are feeling. I will tell you the conversation or rather the experience, was different than I expected.
When I connected in with this eagle it was as if he was two feet in front of me. I could see him so vividly with his beautiful white head, dark feathers and golden beak. He looked piercingly into my eyes and I could feel his energy connecting with mine. I asked him what he knew or wanted to share with us about the energies we feel shifting on our planet. He spoke very little. Instead he took me with him so that he could show me things from his perspective. I will relay the feelings, pictures and words as best I can.
He took me with him in flight high above the earth. First I could see the area where I live, farm land, roads, and then towns as we went higher and higher. Soon we were looking down on the planet as if seen from a satellite picture. He told me he can see the great picture, that he has a vision that encompasses all aspects. Suddenly we were closer to the earth, about where a small plane flies and I could see a tiny mouse running on the ground. Eagle went on to tell me that even though he can see the vastness he can also see the tiniest of detail; the individual perspective. He is asking us to keep this bigger picture in mind and not to focus on the details. He said, “I can focus my vision on the smallest of points far below but if I do that for long, I lose sight of my path. It is important for you humans to fly above the small narrow perspective and keep the total landscape in mind. Stay high, near Great Spirit with your heart’s outlook. Be expansive, do not contract into yourselves.”
We flew back and landed in a very tall tree. There cradled in the yoke of two branches was a nest with tiny, baby eagles. He plucked a few hairs from my head and placed them into the nest. Without words, I understood that he wants us to care for the young and for those who cannot care for themselves, like these baby eagles who are completely dependent upon their parents at this time. He is conveying to me the importance of compassion for all. He then takes small twigs and other items very carefully adding them to the nest. The nest represents our souls and we are being asked to concentrate on caring for our soul. No matter what happens, remember that our soul is our protective nest and the outcome will be beautiful.
I asked him, “Do we need to fear anything about the changes that are happening?” Again, he takes me in flight with him. We fly high above the oceans and I can see the ocean swirling swiftly in a circle. I see large waves coming off this circle or vortex and rushing onto lands, taking much in their path. Then we fly over an area that looks like the Garden of Eden. It is lush, beautiful and peaceful. He is telling us that in spite of the disasters or other forms of chaos, there will be beauty and peace that follows.
My friends, this next part makes me cry. This magnificent eagle plucked a feather from his side and gave it to me. He said, “Be a messenger” and enveloped me in a blanket of love. This was truly a magical moment for me.
Next, he asked me to tell all of you who read this to take time to connect with him to receive his message…and that he has a personal message for each one of you. If you look at the photo here of the eagle and get quiet you will be able to hear his message. I would love to have you share your messages here in the comment section.
I asked him why he showed me so many pictures and spoke little with me. He replied, “ I want you to see and feel the beauty of what I know. I want you to experience it rather than go into your head.” Ha, he already knows me well ;-).
Finally, I asked him if he would be willing to join my class this Saturday (Animal Communication I), he said that yes, he would be joining the class. He went on to tell me that he would be staying with me for some time now. I can’t tell you how blessed I feel to have this magnificent creature here to guide me.
Afterwards, I looked up Eagle in the Sams & Carson, Medicine Cards. Here are a few excerpts.
Eagle, Fly high, Touch Great Spirit.
Share your medicine, Touch me, honor me, So that I may know you too.
Eagle medicine is the power of the Great Spirit, the connection to the Divine. It is the ability to live in the realm of Spirit and yet remain connected and balanced within the realm of the Earth. Eagle soars, and is quick to observe expansiveness within the overall pattern of life. …By looking at the overall tapestry, Eagle teaches you to broaden your sense of self beyond the horizon of what is presently available. ….In learning to fiercely attack your personal fear of the unknown, the wings of your soul will be supported by the ever present breezes which are the breath of the Great Spirit. Eagle teaches you to look higher and to touch Grandfather Sun with your heart, to love the shadow as well as the light. See the beauty in both, and you will take flight like the Eagle.
Happy Soaring.

I am so excited that Eagle will be present with us Saturday!! I had an experience with Eagle about a month ago on the Wisconsin River in Prairie du Sac. He too said little but took me high in the sky – so high I said, “Too high! What if we fall!” He then swooped down so that my stomach jumped and then returned to his previous elevation. I was elated at the rush and knew that I could never fall! I get teary-eyed remembering this encounter. Thank you Eagle!

I don’t (yet) communicate fluently with animals, but I stared at the picture of the eagle, and got the message “Be brave.”
Can someone check with him, and see if that’s what I was supposed to be getting? It would be my first real experience with animal communication if it was!

Yes, Katy, that was his message to you. Congratulations.

“Keep going. Difficult situations are about to come, but you will make it. You are going to help lots of people.” He is sending his love to all of us.
Knowing I have to keep going, in order to help others who need my help, I get stronger. I am greatful for the message the Eagle has given me and for you Wendy, for sharing with us.
P.S. I was in the Animal Communication seminar in Greece, where we met, Wendy. Thank you for the knowledge you gave us. I now communicate with animals easily and I am happy I can help them better than before. The Eagle has a message for you too, Wendy. He told me that you should be carefull, there is a pin coming. I don’t know what that means, or why he said that to me. Maybe makes sense to you.

Be neutral, centre myself…and that I am here to hold the space for others…!!
If this is an accurate reading and you have time I would appreciate an explanation for the last comment..
Plus the eagle said…don’t be quick to pass judgement meditate on things with your heart…
Love peace happiness

I received one word over and over. That word was soar. I’m not sure what that means. Do you know what it means Wendy?

I put out the intention as I prepared my breakfast this morning to find an inspiring way to start my day. I then came to my computer and saw that I’d pulled your blog up, but hadn’t read the entry about communicating with Eagle yet. What an inspiring way to start the day! To me the value of that communication is beyond measure and so important! The message I got was to believe.
I actually got to fly with eagle on my golden birthday. I (temporarily lost my mind and) agreed to sky dive with my brother Noah, jumping out of a plane. 🙂 Shortly after opening the parachute, my tandem guide pointed down at something. I looked down and there about 60 feet below us was a bald eagle!!! My guide asked if I wanted to get closer, which I did. So he spiraled us down to the eagle and the three of us flew together for a minute or so. I was elated and felt I’d received the most amazing birthday gift ever. Several years later I can vividly recall what the experience felt like.
Thank you eagle!!

Thank you for sharing your gift, I am so grateful. When I got quiet and focused Eagle said, “Be free.” Two simple, beautiful words: Be free.

Ha, funny I found this entry today.
Yesterday, I was talking to the eagle who lives by our house. We’ve lived by him and his mate for three years. They have lived there for over 15 years. I’ve noticed his mate was not around lately and asked after her.
“She is dead. I have a new mate, she is young, and I do not love her the way I loved my mate. My mate is now She Who Flies Highest, I am One Who Is Close To The Earth. I must have a new mate to hold my territory until I die. My offspring will take over this territory after I join my mate. This is the best territory, I am King here. I am an Honoured One. I will never starve. I ask the salmon to present themselves to me when I am hungry, and they swim to the surface for me to retrieve, because it is an honour to be taken into my body.
Few generations ago, the eagles used to talk to the humans. My people would tell your people where the deer hid. When the salmon were coming to swim upstream to lay their eggs. I would advise the hunters to they could be ready. The hunters would honour my contribution by leaving me the best organs to eat.
Do you know there is a deer nest below my tree? Sometimes I tell the wolves where the deer are, sometimes I do not. I am charged with the sacred balance of this land. Your people are still a part of it, even though many of you forget. I am glad you are one who can hear the eagle people speak.”
It’s really interesting because crows have this relationship with wolves too. Crows have been observed by biologists advising wolves where their prey is travelling, and wolves share their prey with the crows too.
